Doombox Music Is Moving!

For over three years, I have ran Doombox Music through Wix, uploading various reviews and interviews to the website. It has been an incredible journey, but to continue that, it’s time to move on to a new platform with a sharper look and more tools to make the best music content possible. Wix has proven itself a clunky, inefficient, and overpriced service, so the only way forward is to move on to other platforms.

From this point forward, all future articles (album reviews, interviews, and lists) will be uploaded to my Substack, rebranded as The Doombox Jam. Please consider subscribing to follow my work in this new creative space.

On a more exciting note, as well as my written work, I will be uploading videos to YouTube. These will be much more expansive and detailed projects, in the same vein as my Beginner’s Guides and the Masterful Discography series, and I hope to have my first video up in March. The first video will be a retrospective on A Tribe Called Quest’s landmark final album, We got it from Here … Thank You 4 Your service. I’m excited to share it with you.

Because of this change, and leaving Wix behind, all articles will remain up, but the domain will eventually expire, and images/videos may stop working. Some articles will be tweaked for the Substack, and if you have any favourites you want to see rewritten, let me know!

Thank you to all the readers who read my work, the musicians who sent me their music and offered the time to discuss their artistry. I’m excited to continue Doombox Music as The Doombox Jam on YouTube and Substack, and hope you will follow me there!
